Privacy Policy

PhotoBooking ("PhotoBooking", "we", "us") is operated by Walkthru LLC, Sharjah Media City (Shams), Al Messaned, Al Bataeh, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal data we collect through photobooking.io and the PhotoBooking application, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Two roles we play

• When you visit our website, join the early-access list or create a studio account, we decide why and how your data is used (we are the "controller").
• When a studio uses PhotoBooking to manage its own clients, bookings, estimates and invoices, the studio decides what data goes in and why. We process that data on the studio's behalf (we are the "processor"). If you are a studio's client and want to see, correct or delete your data, please contact that studio first.

2. What we collect

Early-access list. Your email address and, if you choose to give them, your studio name, country and what you shoot.

Studio account. Studio name, owner email address, subdomain, branding and settings you add, and your login activity. We do not use passwords: we email you a one-time login code.

Studio data. Information a studio enters or receives through the app, such as client names, emails, phone numbers, booking details, estimates, invoices and payment records.

Payments. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We receive information such as payment status, amount, currency and reference numbers. We do not store full card numbers.

Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and similar logs, collected for security, reliability and to understand how the site is used. We may use analytics tools (for example Google Tag Manager) for this.

Messages. If you contact us, we keep your message and our reply.

3. How we use your data

• To run PhotoBooking and provide the features you ask for.
• To contact you about early access, your account, security and service changes.
• To process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To support you and fix problems.
• To understand and improve the website and the product.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. Our legal bases

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for example, joining the early-access list, which you can withdraw at any time); performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for); our legitimate interests (security, improving the service, running our business); and legal obligations.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers who help us run PhotoBooking, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms. These include providers of hosting (for example Render), content delivery and DNS (for example Cloudflare), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and analytics. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

7. How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Early-access list entries are kept until you ask to be removed or the list is no longer needed. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it (for example certain financial records). You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and one-time login codes instead of passwords. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under UAE data-protection law, the GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or California law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain uses, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy of your data. To use these rights, email hello@photobooking.io. We may need to verify your identity first. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and keep the service secure. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the service from working.

11. Children

PhotoBooking is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and where changes are significant we will tell you by email or in the service.
